Thank you both so much for your time this evening. It would be an absolute honor to celebrate with you, your family, and all your friends.

I have to admit, I left the call feeling like there were so many things I didn't ask you two and can't wait to hear more. Perhaps on a little engagement photo walk. Speaking of, its always something I like to offer up as a great way to get acquainted in person. We can drive up Guanella Pass if you two are feeling a mountain vibe or we can stroll around town for a little date night vibe. If you can dream it we can do it. I know the idea of having your portraits made doesn't always sound like the best time and you might even feel pretty meh about it. That's okay, its normal. I promise it will be fun and you'll have a handful of surprising photos to remember this time in your lives. That's the best part of photos. They hold more and more value as you grow old together. Heck, you can tell your kids how cool you were one day and actually have photo proof. 1900's photo proof. :)

Super 8mm is one of my favorite mediums. I love its versatility and the ease with which I can tell the story of your day. Nothing conjures up a memory like reliving it through the magic of moving pictures. I don't know quite what it is, maybe it is the imperfect nature of the tiny film, the little scratches and spots of dust flying by the screen, or the shakiness, whatever it is I find it captivating and hope you will too. I always shoot every event with 2 or 3 cameras, substituting one out for a Super 8 works seamlessly with my workflow. If you've been on the fence about hiring a videographer and just haven't liked what you've seen, or you aren't sure if you want 4 more cameras at the wedding, perhaps something a little less tech and more feel is what you need.
