Do you know that moment in a film that makes the hairs on your neck tingle, that split second that gives you a tight feeling in your throat making your eyes sweat a little? This. This is why I photograph weddings. The feeling I have while photographing is often exactly like this, but it is real. This feeling is you. This feeling is witnessing the beginning of a legacy. It is beautiful, honest and it is my incredible honor to be a small part of your journey.
I have had the unique honor to photograph over 800 weddings since deciding to cast away my fresh new journalism degree, toss caution to the wind and become a wedding photographer. It goes without saying that I have been witness to an abundance of laughter, kisses, tears and warm embraces since my wedding photography journey began in 2003. I have seen gobs of wedding photography fads come and go. My mission is to create images that rise above what is popular in the moment. My mission is timelessness.
